Student Minister
Jay Vanderbur is the student minister at FBC Scottsboro. He has been married to Sara for 11 years and they have four children! Jay is a graduate of Boyce College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education. Sara is a graduate of Campbellsville University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music.
Jay and Sara have been involved in student ministry for over 10 years and have served churches in Kentucky, Alabama, and Georgia. They enjoy encouraging students and families to connect their lives with God’s Story! You can follow Jay on Twitter @JayVbur.
