Learning CenterRegistration time for the 2012-2013 school year is here! Registration is opened first to those children who are currently enrolled in the program. We will have registration for those children starting February 1, 2012 through February 10, 2012. The deadline for returning the forms and registration fee will be February 10, 2012. After that time, registration will be opened to the children on our waiting list. We urge you to be prompt in securing your child’s place for this school year beginning in August. There is a waiting list for all the classes.

Monday-Friday; 7:00am - 5:15pmIt is the purpose of the First Baptist Learning Center to extend the ministry of our church by providing Christian preschool weekday education and offering opportunities for spiritual, mental, physical and social development for each child enrolled in the Learning Center. Our program is open to children six weeks through four years old (on or before September 1). Classes are provided for infants, one year olds, two year olds, three year olds, and four year olds. The Learning Center is a full time program for each of the above classes. The Learning Center uses the WEE Learn Curriculum as it's main resource for the staff. Each level of instruction is based on thematic units which incorporate the appropriate developmental stages of growth. The concepts, motor skills, pre-reading, and pre-math are taught according to age and ability of the child. A concentrated effort is made to provide as many opportunities for spiritual growth as possible and to build a firm Christian foundation for the children to build upon while developing necessary skills. OpeningsThe Learning Center is a year round program for preschoolers. We currently have a few openings for infant, one and three year old children. The 2011– 2012 school year will begin August 15, 2011. For the upcoming school year we have openings in the one and four old classes. We also have one infant opening.
