MISSIONS COMMITTEE OBJECTIVE:
To encourage the FBC family to be mission minded “here, there and everywhere” and provide an opportunity for every FBC missionary (you) an opportunity to participate in a mission activity and help fulfil the command of Jesus: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28: 19-20

If you are looking for an international mission opportunity in 2012, please refer to the list of trips below. These are offered through the University of Mobile. If you have an interest, contact someone on the FBC Missions Committee or call/email Dr. Taylor at the University of Mobile to get more details. God willing, we will have more mission trip opportunities next year through FBC as well.
SHREDDING FOR A CAUSE
Cindy Cookston is going to park her "Premier Shredding" truck on the church lot on
Sunday, November 13 from 12-4pm. You may shred up to two 13 gallon garbage bags
or up to 2 "banker boxes" of paper per family (no businesses, please).
This would be a good time to get rid of all those financial records and
confidential information that have accumulated in your house.
The cost is a donation to the DR Mission Team. Questions, please call
